Forget the “secret code” – the SECRET is in CODING! Tomorrow’s future begins today…

What is coding?  Coding is the combination of computers and science, “Computer Science”.  Who doesn’t love that combination?  This generation of children has no fear of technology; they are literally “tech junkies.”

As parents every single one of us is working to “un-plug” our children each and every day.  I am about to switch your focus and give you the tools you need as parents to take control of the tech and help you give your child the CODE ADVANTAGE.

“Great programmers are today’s ROCKSTARS” and we are about to ROCK OUT!

Computer science is “the art of blending human ideas and digital tools to increase our power. Computer scientists work in so many different areas: writing apps for phones, curing diseases, creating animated movies, working on social media, building robots that explore other planets and so much more.”

Computer science skills are exactly what our children need to be competitive in the global job market of the future!

Are you ready to take it to the next level?  Great!  Here’s what you need to know:  All the information necessary for you to be successful can be found at http://www.code.org/learn. Follow the links and surf around on your PC to determine which programming would best suit your wonder child.  There are numerous opportunities to get into programming and a few ways to incorporate learning code from your tablet or Ipad platform.

I can say from experience, coding in the preschool through the middle school bracket is fun, informative and can actually help accelerate one’s understanding of algebraic function.  Accept the challenge and try it out with your child today!

Enjoy the journey; the future is in your hands!
